Sensory Processing Workshop 2024

Join us for an engaging and informative workshop designed to empower parents, teachers, and educators in understanding and supporting sensory processing in children. Sensory processing refers to the way the nervous system receives, interprets, and responds to sensory information from the environment. This workshop aims to equip participants with practical knowledge and strategies to create inclusive and supportive environments for children with sensory processing differences.

Note: This workshop is open to all individuals interested in understanding sensory processing challenges, including parents, teachers, educators, therapists, and caregivers. No prior knowledge or experience in sensory processing is required.

Sensory products will be available for purchase on the night. Coffee & Tea will be provided.

Pokemon Pals

Step into a realm where imagination knows no bounds and friendship thrives, as we present to you the enchanting world of Pokemon Pals – a captivating social group designed especially for young adventurers and Pokemon enthusiasts!

Join the Journey: Embark on an exhilarating adventure with like-minded Pokemon fans! In our Pokemon Pals community, children aged 6-10 gather to celebrate the fascinating universe of Pokemon. Every meeting is an opportunity to explore, learn, and share in the magic of these loveable creatures.

SPOTs of FUN

Happy Dots will be running a specialised preschool group to give children the opportunity to develop their play, communication, and motor skills in a fun and interactive way.

Children will not only have a blast participating in a variety of exciting sensory and play-based activities but will also enjoy the magic of shared play and lively conversations, all expertly facilitated by our dedicated therapists. Every session is crafted around captivating themes, ensuring a dynamic and engaging experience that caters to a diverse range of children’s interests.

Groups sessions will be co-run by an Occupational Therapist and Speech Pathologist.

Careers Night

Are you currently studying your OT or Speech Pathology degree? Are you interested in becoming an OT or Speech Pathology Assistant while studying? Interested in an admin position in the allied health space? Come along for an informal night of learning about all that a career in private paediatric OT and Speech Pathology has to offer.

We will be addressing some of the most important things you need to know going into a career in Paediatrics such as:

– How to stand out from the crowd on your CV
– Top questions to ask in an interview
– What supervision & support should look like for a new graduate
– How much will I be paid?

There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and speak with therapists on the night PLUS:
