 At Happy Dots, we also provide group therapy for your children. Our group therapy programs run every school holidays and during the school term. These include school readiness programs, music and movement groups, motor skills groups, fussy eating groups and social skills groups.

Diggin’ Dots is the group for craft and plant lovers. Come personalise a pot for your own plant to take home and care for.

Yoga

This group aims to introduce children to relaxation strategies and movements in a fun and social way. These movements may then be utilised by children and their families throughout their day to day lives to assist with achieving a calm, grounded and regulated state.

Crafty Kids

Crafty Kids is a social group that uses craft activities to target a child’s fine motor skills including manual dexterity and finger strength. By targeting these skills, children can improve their independence in other important areas, including pencil grip, using cutlery and doing buttons.

Lego Club

Lego Club is one of our most popular groups with a huge focus on social skills & fine motor skills in a fun, play based environment.

Active Dots

Active Dots is a physical program addressing primarily gross motor skills, in a fun and active environment. Facilitated by an OT, this group is sure to address many areas of development.

Sensory Science Lab

In Sensory Science Lab your child, will engage and explore simple science experiments that are loads of sensory fun and also teach basic scientific concepts.

Little Picasso’s

This painting group allows your child to develop and express their artistic and creative side whilst learning basic painting techniques. A calming background ambiance will also encourage your child to relax and concentrate, whilst having fun!

Creative Chefs

Learn how to prepare simple meals at home by yourself in this fun cooking class. You will learn basic preparation skills and get to eat the food you’ve prepared!

Carnivale Circus Group

This group takes the fabulous excitement of the circus and encourages everyone to have a go at completing some tricky balancing acts, create hilarious animals, work together to put on a show and lots more!

Minecraft Mates

Who loves Minecraft? It is a group program that children can attend to create minecraft characters using Hama beads. The group allows children to learn and work alongside other children with the same shared interest.

STEM

Our STEM group provides children with an opportunity to spark their creativity whilst immersing themselves in the basic principals of science, technology, engineering & mathematics. Rockin’ Dots

Get excited for Rockin’ Dots! A musical & sensory experience that addresses teamwork, fine motor skills, rhythm and following instructions. Learn some basic music principles and work together to perform a simple tune by the end of the group. For ages 7+. Come enjoy rocking out and making music!

Superhero

Superheroes: Put on your masks and capes and come dressed as your favourite superhero to practice your skills!

Week one will focus on your superhero strengths to fly through the sky, swing and jump over obstacles to build your gross motor skills.

Week two will develop your fine motor skills to create your own superhero mask and work on your hand strength and manipulation while building your teamwork skills! For children aged 5-8 yrs

Dino Dots

Prepare to have a roaringly good time! For kids that live and breathe all things Jurassic, these dinosaur themed activities will assist in developing fine and gross motor skills whilst also learning fun facts about our long-lost dinosaur friends. Whether its digging for fossils, creating dinosaur craft or pretending to be a T-Rex these activities will make gaining new skills fun!
